“Change happens through movement...
Hello, I’m Rebecca.
Originally from the States, but 17 years ago took the leap across the pond to explore dance and movement here in London, UK.
I was a professional dancer which took me on a 35 year journey of movement. Over this time I watched and worked with many different bodies. Five years ago when I did my Mat Pilates training I brought much of what I learned from dance to my classes – creativity, technique, inclusivity and an absolute joy for movement.
With c-curve scoliosis and a few injuries over the years, I know that every exercise is not right for everybody and work with clients to find the right modification and level for them. In class you will get a fun, flowing, challenging experience for the whole body backed up with some American enthusiasm (awesome has not left my vocabulary yet!).
Currently I hold certificates in Mat 1, 2 and 3 (Balanced Body)
Reformer 1 and 2 (Balanced Body)
Pre and Post Natal (Jennifer Gianni, Fusion Pilates)
Arc and Pole (Nikki Chrysotomou).

It is a constant journey of learning.
The body is incredible!
...and movement heals."
– Joseph Pilates

1:2:1 Reformer sessions
A universal body workout
Building the strength, flexibility, coordination
and balance for efficient, pain free movement.
Working together we will build the strength, flexibility, coordination and balance that you need for your body.
In turn this will lead to daily life improvements like better posture, efficient movement, and for many, relief from pain associated with physical imbalances.
The reformer is large enough to accommodate a
full-range of motion, which is wonderful for increasing flexibility while building strength. It invites the length
you want to create in the body, and it trains the body to sustain that length.
Exercising with the reformer is possible for anyone, at any level of fitness. It's no wonder the full name of the reformer is the universal reformer.
Sessions are £60 each in Leyton, East London.
For other locations or online, get in touch to discuss options and book your first session.
“ I'm not an exercise person, this is
the most consistent work I have ever done. You have made it enjoyable!”
– Alana
"I always felt more comfortable and stretched after
our sessions but also like I’d had a workout. Rebecca showed us lots of positions for making labour easier, which I’m looking forward to using.
Thank you Rebecca!”

Pre & post natal pilates
Supporting you through
a transformative time.
We will work together to support you through this transformative time with the correct movements at every stage of pregnancy and beyond. Each person's journey through birth is different. Working in a 1:2:1 or small group setting offers the opportunity to develop the strength and flexibility YOUR body needs.
Prenatally we will work in the second and third trimester to balance the body, including the pelvic floor, aiming for a smooth prenatal phase and birth. You may be heavy and achy but rest assured that Pilates can help conditions associated with pregnancy, including improving posture, circulation and well-being. It also helps prepare for giving birth and for a quicker recovery after birth, as well as preparing for the physical demands of parenthood.
Postnatally we will look less at ‘getting your body back’ but more how to build strength, flexibility and coordination with where you are now. Often discovering your body that can be stronger and more capable than before pregnancy. As each person births differently, each recovery will be different. I am interested in working with you and your individual needs, progressing through a programme
that develops deep strength from the inside out.
Always consult your doctor before returning to exercise.Get in touch
to discuss your needs and book your first session.
Sessions are £70 each
or 5 for £300
*These can be 1:1's or small groups
Considering the whole body
It’s all connected
Considering the whole body by working with different specialists in their field including Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Women's Health professionals, Functional Medicine, Nutritionists and Councillors, allows myself and you, the client, to gain a full picture of what is happening in the body. While this is not necessary to do pilates it can help us to move forward in a deeper and more individual way.
Amanda Hall : Physiotherapy and Women's Health (Waterloo and Wimbledon)
Sundip Aujla : Osteopath (De Beauvoir)
Debbie Lewis: Functional Medicine and Nutritionist (Online and West London)
If you are already working with a health care professional I am happy, with your consent, to discuss any findings and diagnosis.
